Service Dog
Fallon was a female Border Collie rescued from the Reno Animal Control facility.  We estimated she was between 2 and 3 years old when we adopted her in 2001.  She was picked up on the streets of Reno....no collar....no microchip. The staff at Animal Control said she was people-aggressive, and took her directly to "death row".  They had snared her with a catch-pole, at which point she "came alive", she was terrified.  We're sure that if Border Collie Rescue hadn't asked to see what was "in the back", she would have been one of those great dogs lost forever.  Her owner never looked for her.  We feel so blessed to have found this wonderful girl.  She was small, weighing about 28-30 pounds, and standing about 18 1/2" at the withers.  She was very sweet and loyal.  She had a bond with Lin like no other. Fallon began competing in agility just 2 short months after we rescued her.  She definitely proved herself as a working dog.  She was intense when working, and was a fast learner.  She wanted to please.  Fallon had an easy, efficient way of moving with wonderful structure.  We were so glad she joined our pack of Shelties, our first Border Collie.  Fallon retired from agility at 15 years old.

Update: 02/09/2018 - Fallon crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.  At almost 19 years old, she lived an incredible life.  She was an awesome companion, and will be terribly missed.
