Following is information about the training sessions offered at mdt/AA.

Group Lessons:    Available for agility training only

Introductory Group Agility Classes:

These classes are for dogs and/or handlers with little or no experience in agility.  While competition level obedience training is not a necessary prerequisite, the dog should have taken a basic obedience class, and be able to be controlled Tag Jumping by the handler with simple commands such as "sit", "down", "stay", and "come".

The focus will be on laying a foundation to prepare for competition in the various agility venues: NADAC, CPE, AKC and USDAA.  The classes will cover the introduction of standard agility equipment used in competition and basic agility.  Each six-week session has one class per week for approximately one hour.

In order to participate, you will need to pre-register.  Your dog will need a buckle collar, leash and food treats or toys (whatever turns your dog on!!), and be healthy and non-aggressive.  A current shot record from your vet, and a signed Hold Harmless Agreement will also be required.

Novice Group Agility Classes:

In order to participate in the Novice Agility Class, your dog must be easily controlled off leash, both on and off the agility equipment, and have taken our Introductory Agility Class.  The Novice class further expands Tag on Teeter on the skills necessary to compete at the Novice level.  Increased emphasis on course strategy, teamwork and handling techniques are taught in this class.

In order to participate, you will need to pre-register.  Your dog will need a buckle collar, leash and food treats or toys (whatever turns he or she on!!), and be healthy and non-aggressive.  A current shot record from your vet, and a signed Hold Harmless Agreement will also be required.
