Fallon is a female Border Collie rescued from the Reno Animal Control facility. We guessed she was between 2 & 3 years old when we adopted her. She was picked up on the streets of Reno....no collar....no microchip. The staff at the pound said she was people-aggressive, and took her directly to "death row". They had snared her with a catch-stick, at which point she "came alive", terrified. We're sure that if Border Collie Rescue hadn't asked to see what was "in the back", she would have been one of those great dogs lost forever. Her owner never even looked for her.
We feel so blessed to have found this wonderful girl. She's small, weighing only 26 pounds and standing about 18 1/2" at the withers. She's very sweet and loyal. Her agility career has just started. With just a few months of training, she's already racked up a number of titles, and is definitely proving herself. She's intense when working, and is a fast learner. She's competitive and wants to please. Fallon has an easy, efficient way of moving with wonderful structure. Watch for her to do great things. We're glad she has joined our pack of Shelties.
