Dare was the puppy I wasn't looking for. I was waiting for others. Wrong color, but there he was, this wonderful, strikingly beautiful Sheltie baby that I came home without. I couldn't get him out of my mind, however, and after two weeks of talking about him, I went to pick him up. He was from a strictly confirmation line, and the breeder and I have known each other for 15 years. Now with that said, you can understand that he wasn't an "impulse" puppy. He joined our pack, and hasn't looked back since. He's a bundle of energy; quick, smart and high drive, not always thinking before reacting. But now at 10 months old, he's learning some self control. We'll see what this young boy has to offer. Sometimes the most troublesome puppy turns out to be one of the best dogs. Stand by for him to enter the ring in late 2011. He has some big shoes to fill.
